Terms of use

CHEER is a party scoreboard for invited participants and authorized hosts. These guidelines explain how to use it during party preparation, games, and later visits to your results.

Use your own account

Sign in with your own Google account and use the invitation or personal claim code given to you by a host. Do not impersonate another participant, use someone else’s claim code, or share access intended for a specific person.

Respect the event

Use the app for the parties you are invited to. Do not tamper with requests or scores, attempt to obtain host permissions or access another event’s information, disrupt the service, or upload content you are not entitled to share.

Your profile may be shown to event members and on the party TV. Choose a display name and optional photo appropriate for that audience. See the Privacy notice for how account, event, and profile information is used.

Hosts manage scoring

Hosts set event rules, team assignments, registration, and standings visibility. They may correct scores, reverse mistaken awards, or update records to reflect what happened during the party. Ask a host about a disputed score or an incorrect roster entry.

Availability

The app depends on an internet connection and third-party sign-in and hosting services. Continuous availability and error-free results are not guaranteed. Hosts should keep an alternative score record and check entries after an interruption.

Contact

For help, corrections, or concerns about use of the app, contact the organizer at darren.biel@gmail.com.
